    How do you spot Michael Kors in a crowd?

     

    A judge on the Emmy-nominated TV show “Project Runway,” Kors was hamming it up with guests at the local premiere of his fall 2010 women’s wear collection Tuesday at Greenwich Avenue clothier Richards.
    Scores of local fashionistas gathered at the evening soiree to sip cocktails, nosh on hors d’oeuvres, and mingle with Kors, the founder and chief designer of his eponymous Michael Kors label.
    Headlining the event was a 15-minute runway show featuring all the same fall fashions that were on display at the collection’s New York premiere at Fashion Week 2010 in Bryant Park this past February.

    Ask the luxury fashion designer and reality TV star that question, and he’ll tell you it’s easy: “He’s 27. He wears (size) 27 jeans. He’s six-two. And he’s always tan,” the 50-year-old Long Island native joked.
